The Babies Are Coming Soon!

Two weeks. Two weeks from today I will have a new little nephew, Jake. He is being born by c-section on the 18th. Six weeks after that, on October 30, my other sister is having a c-section. We do not know what this baby is, but I am pretty sure it is a girl. You should know that I was convinced her last baby was a girl, and she came out a boy, so I am no good at guessing the sex of babies. I am extremely excited, however, to be there when she delivers to find out.

I have talked to both of my sisters about using C'elle, and saving their babies cord blood. They understand that there are so many potential benefits to doing this, and are seriously considering it. Nowadays, most people know about saving their baby's cord blood, but what many women don't know is that there are also stem cells in their menstrual blood, and these cells also have the potential to be used in treatments in the future. The many benefits are still unknown, but these stems cells are being shown to help women with breast cancer, which is a disease close to my heart. Many of you may already know that I had a scare a couple of years ago, which eventually led to my having a breast reduction. If I had actually had cancer, I would have wanted every treatment available to me, and if my own stem cells can be used in those treatments, then they are worth saving.

If you are worried about your future, you should order now so that your stem cells are ready when you need them. Is there anything more comforting than knowing that you have taken the steps to help insure your future health?

I don't think so.
