We were walking the aisles today, and I told the kids they could pick out some pudding cups. They decided on the flavors, and when I took one off the shelf, it had shredded paper on the top.

Yeah, to say I was grossed out was an understatement.
I went and got the manager, who we know well. He is the guy who took care of the front end manager who made the sexual comment to me about Junior and my boobs. Anyway, he came over there, and was so embarrassed. I was understanding, because I know these things happen. Where there is food, there are mice.
I just don't want see the evidence.

EEEK. That's an all around crappy experience to have in a grocery store. Sheesh.
That is gross!! Did you get something free out of it? I found worms in my wheat once, called and they apologized and sent me a certificate for $10 worth of free groceries or something.
And, seriously, you're in the grocery store 3 times a week or more? I only go every 2 to 3 weeks - except I do send my husband to pick up milk or something like that on the weeks I don't go.
Oh my... totally gross! I bet the Health Inspectors would have a field day slapping fines here and there for mice on the premises. Heck, I vaguely remember a grocery store getting closed down until they got rid of fruit flies (I consider fruit flies harmless but annoying... rats/mice, on the other hand, a total health hazard!)
Eeeewwww...gross!! I don't think I'd be able to shop there again. I mean, I agree, where there is food, there are mice, but after the undeniable truth, I don't think I'd be confident buying food there again!
YUCKO!!!!!!LOL
hughugs
I just got shivers. I will have to avoid the grocery store for a few days now. LOL.
Yuck!!!!!! I know there are mice where there is food but NOOOOOOO don't want to see that they were on the food I'm buying.
Oh yuck. Wish I hadn't read that. I know I will be thinking about it the next couple of times I go to the grocery store!
