That is what Brandi has called her little vacation from school, Brand-cation. I kept her home today, too, because I spoke to her teacher last night, and there are 3 kids in her class who have the flu, and I didn't want to sent her back and have her pick that up. Her immune system is still a little wonky, so better safe than sorry.
At least that is my opinion.
Her teacher also said that because Brandi does so well in school...all 100's...that she will not have to make up the tests she missed. I told her teacher it didn't matter, because she knew all the spelling and vocabulary words from this week, so she would ace the tests anyway.
I have a little smarty pants on my hands.

it's better to keep her home just in case than to have her get sick even worse next time. Back in the spring I kept Aidan home almost two weeks when he was sick because it just lingered.

how clever, brand cation. It is better to be on the safe side, ya never know.
