Stocking Stuffers From The Yo-Yo Shop

What do you get a 14 year old boy for Christmas when he won't tell you what he wants?

This is my dilemma right now. I keep asking the kids what they want, and the girls have given me some ideas. It's like pulling teeth, but they are finally starting to put together lists.

But not Ryan. All he wants are fishing rods. Two of them. That match. The ones he want are twenty dollars each. Easy enough. But he won't tell me anything else.

This means that I get to decide what he gets. He already has every electronic, except a cell phone, but I have reservations about that. This has led me to scouring the internet for things that interest teen aged boys.

One of the things I have come across are yoyos. I remember getting him one a few years ago, and he loved it. He taught himself how to do all these different tricks, like walk the dog and around the world. He even checked a book out of the library to learn other tricks. Now, if you know my Ryan, you know what a big deal that is. He hates to read. I am not sure what happened to that yo-yo, but I am pretty sure it ended up broken. My decision now is whether to get him an expensive one he can do all kinds of tricks with, or get him a fairly inexpensive one that he can practice on, and I won't have to worry about it getting broke like the last one. Either way, I think this is the perfect stocking stuffer for him.

Heck, I might get each of the girls one, too. I can get them all from yoyoshop.co.uk and save a little money, because they offer free shipping. Who says yo-yo's are just for boys?
