What About Kasandra?

I am not sure if I mentioned that I was having trouble with my kids medicaid. They were in a program that my doctor's office no longer accepted, so I had to fight to get them switched. I finally got the letter today saying they were accepted into the new plan.

Well, Ryan and Brandi were. It seems they forgot about Kasi.

Figures. Nothing is ever easy for me.

I called, and after being on hold for a while, and then being transferred, I finally found the person who could help me. Turns out that Kasi was removed from the old plan, but not put into the new one. My case worker put her in the plan with the other kids, and now all I have to do is wait on their new cards to arrive in the next two weeks. I can not complain at all about the service I received today, because every single person was polite and helpful. Granted, it took a while to straighten things out, but I was okay with that because I wasn't dealing with rude people. It got me thinking that maybe I should look into case manager employment. I think I would be good at it.

Glad it all worked out. We have medicaid for our kids, too. One year, the case worker that I had was a hoot. She could remember my younger son's name, but not my older one. She just get saying, "You know, Michael and the other one!" Couldn't complain - at least we had coverage!
