This year has been a tough one. I am glad it is finally coming to a close, and I can not wait to see what 2010 has in store for my little family.
I think next year we are going to take a week long vacation, instead of just a couple of days. I would love to be able to get on a plane and fly to wherever the next flight leads. Maybe we'd end up in Hawaii, where we can swim in the ocean and enjoy the sandy beaches. Or maybe we'd end up overseas somewhere, like Italy, where we would tour every landmark, all the while being driven by the best Car Hire Italy has to offer. We would dine on the best Italian food, and drink the best Italian wine...
Okay, let's get back to reality. For one thing, I would never get on a plane. Secondly, I could never afford to go anywhere that exotic. I could if I won the lottery, but I don't see that happening any time soon, either.
I think we will just stick to our annual camping vacations, where we can fish and swim and just enjoy being a family. No pressure, no cell phones, no worries.
At least for a little while...
