There is a new way to search the web, and to tell you the truth, I am loving it.
Are you looking to see who got voted off Survivor tonight? Do you want to see who is Tweeting about it, or posting about it on Facebook? How about New Moon? Are you loving everything Twilight? You can find out all types of interesting things by using real time search engines, like leapfish. Just type in what you are looking for, and you will find all kinds of things about it, related to it, and who is talking about it.
I just typed in New Moon, and there are a ton of Tweets that showed up, and they are from right now, not three weeks ago. Most of the Tweets are talking about tonight's episode of The Office. Apparently Jim gave Kelly a New Moon poster for Christmas, and she freaked out a bit. At least that is what I am getting from the Tweets.
Google also has real time search now, and they used the social media to promote it's launch. I typed in "Survivor Samoa" on Google's real time search, and they also listed a bunch of Tweets . People are really talking about how this week, Shambo's dream of getting rid of Dave finally came true. I now know where to go if I ever miss an episode of my favorite shows, because you can be caught up in a few minutes reading what everyone is Tweeting.
Real time searches are going to be the hot new thing, in my opinion. Immediate satisfaction is great, and getting all the detail with one click is so simple.
I love it.
