I ended up taking her to the ER, because we couldn't get in to see our doctor due to therapy. After three hours and a couple of chest xrays, we were finally on our way home with a prescription for Robitussin plus codeine (or some type of special stuff), which of course her insurance wouldn't cover. Thankfully it was inexpensive, and we actually had the money to fill it ourselves. So, right now she is medicated, and trying to not fall asleep so she can watch Wizards at 11.I don't think she is going to make it.

I hope that she feels better soon. ER is a hassle, but sometimes, we cannot do anything when we can't get to our doctor's office. I have 4 kids, and I am so grateful that they don't get sick very often, and when they do, it's one at a time, otherwise, I don't know where to get the co-pay the meds and other things.
Hope she's better soon! One of my "babies" is home sick today and will be again tomorrow, too.
