Me And My Cakes

We made a trip to my dad's house on my birthday for dinner. Unfortunately, it started to snow along the way, so we didn't stay very long for fear of the roads freezing. We did enjoy a yummy dinner and birthday cake before we left. My gift was the Twilight game, and I can not wait to play when my sister is visiting next week.

Junior and the kids got me a cake tonight, and I have to say, it was something I have been missing for, oh, about 16 years. It was a CARVEL cake! Oh my goodness...those chocolate crunchies...man, I could have eaten the entire thing myself! I wish they had Carvel down here, because there soft ice cream is the absolute best.
