Almost Spring

Just yesterday I was bragging about the weather here in South Carolina. I should have known better. Today was kind of yucky. It never rained, but it sure did feel like it would at any second. It wasn't cold, but the warmth of the past few weeks was definitely missing. I guess you could say it was a blah kind of day, and my feet stayed cold.

I also think my dreams of beautiful window boxes filled with flowers may have to wait a week or two. Technically, it won't be Spring for another couple of days, but I am so ready.

I love letting the warm breeze blow through the house.

I love that the kids can play outside without heavy coats. Last week, Brandi was outside in a tank top and shorts.

Now that mom has the pool, I am also counting the days until it is swimming time. I am hoping that will help me lose the rest of this weight.

And swimming is just fun!
