I Hate When I Wake Up With A Headache

There is nothing worse than starting my day with a pounding behind my eyes and a sensitivity to light and noise.  But, that is what I woke up to when my alarm went off at 5:15 this morning.  Or yesterday morning, since it is technically tomorrow.  Or today.  Oh, crap, I don't know.  Can you see what migraines do to me?

So as soon as I got the kids on the bus, I tried to go back to bed.  I couldn't sleep.  I didn't want to take the Excedrin on an empty stomach, so I got up to get something to eat.  (Let me just say that I love the Excedrin Migraine medicine.  It is the only thing that works when my head feels as bad as it did this morning.) I finally fell asleep when the medicine kicked in.  I slept for a couple of hours, and when I woke up. my head was pounding again.  After checking my email and updating my facebook status, (because let's face it...that is what is important people) I settled into my recliner with my blanket and a movie.  (I watched My Sister's Keeper, which looking back was not a great choice, because the sobbing didn't help my headache at all...man, that was a sad movie) I also drank a bunch of diet Pepsi, instead of my normal sprite zero, because the caffeine usually helps my head.  Eventually it did, but now I am paying for it, because I am wide awake, and it is 1am.  I have to get Junior up for work in an hour and 15 minutes, so there really isn't any point to trying to sleep at this point.  Maybe after I get him up I'll head to bed.

Hopefully I will be able to sleep.
