"Hey mom. Did you know that there are Silly Bandz that GLOW IN THE DARK?"
Aw, crap.
Yes, I caved and bought a couple of more packs of these stupid shaped rubber bands so that Brandi had some that glowed in the dark. I think it goes back to when I was a kid, and I never really had the things that were popular until they lost some of their popularity.
I will be so happy when this little fad (is that what they are still called?) is over.

My granddaughter came home with one from school. Looks like I am in trouble. You see I had the same problem as you when growing up.
Russ ~ you are in trouble!
I ordered these them online and found a few packs at Justice For Girls. What a pain these are!!!

I ordered some online, too, and after a week of nothing, I contacted the company only to find out they were out of the ones I ordered. They let me pick another pack, and when i got them in the mail today, there was an extra pack in there, free of charge, for my troubles. I was pretty impressed.
I bought some at the Hallmark store for my kids. But believe it or not, my daughter's school banned them. The kids are not allowed to bring them to school anymore. Because there was a lot of trading going on. And kids were even trying to sell them for money to other kids. So they won't let them bring them in anymore.
How cute! My daughter's in that wanting everything to glow in the dark phase, I'll have to look into these for her! Great site!
Sue ~ I wish my kids school would ban them. My youngest says that her teachers takes them away when the kids play with them, and that she has a shoe box full already.
Haley ~ glow in the dark stuff is pretty cool when you're little...wait, let me take that back...I still love the glo-sticks we take with us camping.
