Sure enough, one of the shirts rings up for $5. I point it out to the cashier, who looks at the tag, looks at me, and says,
"I'll give it to you for $3."
Um, what? I responded, ever so sweetly, with this:
"No. I found it on the $1 rack, so I want it for $1. You can call someone over to go back there and check, because there are tons more of the exact same shirt on the rack. I'll wait."
Then I smiled. She didn't.
She did, however, call over the manager, who said to give it to me for $1. I mean, why would I pay more for something that I know is less money? That's why it's always best to watch the register.

Oh yes you have to watch that register. So many things get rung up wrong. It's a real rip off.
Lol, I can't believe she said that!! Too funny but also too true. Instead of her going and finding out what the real price was she acted a lil lazy and misspoke. Glad u didn't budge girlie!!!

Not surprised. Not only do you have to watch that the register was programmed but the cashiers often times think they are auctioneers.
