I think I am one of very few people in this world who doesn't own a cool cell phone. Junior and I have those "pay as you go" phones. They can text and take pictures, but that's about it. We end up spending about $60 a month on each phone, which is more than we would pay if we went out and signed up for a monthly plan. We have been talking about what type of phones we should get when we switch, and I am leaning towards a Blackberry. School is starting back for the kids soon, and it will nice to have a phone that can keep track of all of our commitments. I also want to be able to get online and sign up for WeReward for iPhone.
What's that? You don't know what WeReward is? Well, let me tell you all about it. It's a new app from the folks at Izea, and it basically pays you to do things you would do anyway. Let's say you want to go out to eat. You can go to the WeReward app and see if any local restaurants are offering "points" to eat there. You may have to take a picture of yourself inside the restaurant, or something like that, to earn your points, and when you get earn enough points, they can be be turned into cash.
Right now, you can get WeReward for Android and the iPhone, and hopefully by the end of this month, it will be available for the Blackberry. If you want all the details, check out WeReward.com.

I have what I THOUGHT would be a cool phone but I actually hate it. It's pretty low-tech comparatively to what the general population has but really, I just want to be able to call my husband and kids when I need to.
Stacey ~ that's what I thought I needed, until I realized all that you could do with these fancy ones...I want the internet at my fingertips all the time, too! lol! It's an addiction, I tell ya!
