Personalized Labels

Brandi came home from school on the first day with a refillable water bottle.  She said every kid in her class found one on her desk as a gift from the teacher.  Each water bottle had the girl's name on it, written in permanent marker.

After a few trips through the dishwasher, Brandi's name was gone.  We tried writing it again, and every time we did, it would be gone again within a week.  Then I had the opportunity to review Oliver's labels, and I knew exactly how we would put them to the test.

These labels can be printed with your child's name, and they are "dishwasher & laundry safe and will never fade, scuff or peel". I will admit to being a little skeptical.  I was sure that after a few cycles through the dishwasher the label would be peeling up at the corners.  I was pleasantly surprised when after a weeks worth of washing, the label looks exactly like it did when I put it on the water bottle.

I also put one on her lunchbox and book bag.  Both of those are in perfect condition, too.  It was difficult for Brandi to pick a "theme" because they had so many cute designs, but she finally decided on the flowers.  I think these labels would be perfect for mom's of babies, too.  My sister sends her kids to daycare, and has to make sure that their names are on all bottles and sippy cups.  These labels would be perfect for that.

Now that the weather is getting cold, Brandi is going to start wearing her winter coat to school.  I am going to put a label in that, too.  I'll make sure and let you know how it holds up in the laundry.
