These are the main cabinets in my kitchen. As you can see, the maintenance guy did a horrible job painting right before we moved in last year. He used a cheap paint that was not washable at all. In fact, whenever I tried to wipe them down, the paint would come right off.

These are the cabinets under the sink and the only drawers in the entire kitchen. They look horrible, don't they?

It took me all day, but I am thrilled with how great the cabinets look now.

They look much better!! Is that the washable paint now?
Trish ~ it is...or at least it's supposed to be. Brandi tested it out by spilling an entire glass of sunny d on it, and it wiped right off...so that's a good sign.
Count on Brandi to help you test it out!
Wow, they look great!!
they are ok now :) good job :)
Wow! they look great! I want you to come and help me with my kitchen!!

Pearl ~ thank you!
They do look great! Nice job!
Miranda ~ thanks! That one coat of paint really brightened up the whole kitchen.
Silvergirl ~ thanks :)
Stacey ~ as long as you cook for me, I'm there ;p
Rondi ~ thank you!
Oh wow, what a difference a coat of GOOD paint can make! It looks great!
They do look good! What a waste of time for that maintenance guy. Sounds like he does things half way.
They look amazing!
We did that to our kitchen too, quite a chore, isn't it?
I know I was exhausted after that! lol!
They do look great so clean and fresh. Amazing how using the correct paint and doing a nice job can make a big difference maybe the maintenance man needs to see this.
You did a great job! They look so much better now. Wanna come help me paint? ;o)
Karen ~ he wasn't happy about painting them in the first place...when we first looked at the house, the cabinets were three different woods...all unpainted. I requested they be painted white so that they would at least match. I should have just asked to do it myself from the beginning.
Tara ~ thanks! It looks even prettier in person.
Kristin ~ it was a chore, but sooo worth it.
Tammy ~ I am technically not allowed to paint at all, so showing him may be a mistake. I know it is an improvement, but I don't want to get in trouble with the owner.
Tammy ~ I actually enjoy painting...and trip to Canada sounds like fun! :)
