Great Phones For Teens

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The biggest mistake parents can make is giving their teens a phone that has limited features.  In this day and age, texting has become the main way kids communicate.  If you don't have unlimited texting on your kid's phone, I am almost certain that you will end up with an outrageous phone bill.

I have a Straight Talk phone as my personal cell, and it's awesome.  It has everything you need and I pay only $45 every month.  That covers unlimited talk, text, and web.  I can call a friend or send pictures, without worrying about going over my monthly minutes and ending up with an expensive phone bill.  Here lately, I have been texting a lot, so having unlimited texts is a blessing.

Trust me when I say mom knows best when it comes to these phones.  I speak from experience.  I plan on getting one for Kasi for Christmas.  She's 14, and has been begging for a phone for a while now.  I think the time has come where she deserves one of her own.  I know that by getting her a Straight Talk phone, I won't have to worry about her running up a huge phone bill.
