 The girls and I are going to see Sugarland on March 10th.  I can not wait!  They are my favorite, and it is the first concert for the girls, ever.  I also think they need this now, as they are having a little trouble with this whole me and their dad separating thing.  I am really hoping that they don't sing my favorite song, because I will seriously lose it.  It makes me think of Bob and all we are going through...not in a "I want you back and am sad about it" way, but in a "I wish I had been there for you when you needed me" kind of way.

If you are friends with me on Facebook, you will remember when I was looking for Cheap Concert Tickets I was having such a hard time.  One day I would log in and the lowest priced ticket would be $60, and then the next day I would find some for $25.  It was driving me crazy!  Thankfully, when I was actually ready to buy the tickets, I found them for around $33 each. I know all these artists want to make as much money as possible, but I think they should always have tickets available that even us everyday people who struggle with money can afford.

My sister is also going to the concert with a few of her friends.  They bought their tickets about 2 weeks before I got mine.  When Bob left, I was worried about transportation to the concert, so I asked my sister if we could ride with her.  Turns out, we are sitting exactly one row apart.  I seriously think God had a hand in that.  I mean, what are the odds?

Look what I got today!

I am so happy. It has a bunch of songs I haven't heard before...Circle, Better Man, Sex On Fire, Irreplaceable, The One I Love, and Love Shack...which I did hear watching the CMT awards recently. I haven't listened to the CD yet, but am looking forward to it!

Maybe tomorrow I will find the time...

What's Going On?

This past week has been rough with the paid posts. I haven't been able to snag but a few. I'm beginning to get a little discouraged. I was hoping to make enough to do some Christmas shopping.

Yay!!! Sugarland just won Duo of the Year!!! Yes, I'm watching the CMA's. Jennifer Nettles won song of the year, too, for Stay. They are up for Entertainer of the Year, so I still have my fingers crossed!

Anyway, I know money is tight for everyone these days. They even cut hubby's hours at work, which sucks. Hopefully it's just for this week, but who knows. He did end up getting a $200 gift card, so that will help for ryan for Christmas. He is always stealing hubby's tools, even though he has his own. BUT, his tools are "kid size" and he likes the "real" tools, so maybe there will be some new ones under the tree for him this year.

I spent the whole day today cleaning. REALLY cleaning. I want to start putting up my Christmas decorations, and I need the house super clean first. I am almost finished. I only have a few things left to do tomorrow. I am trying to figure out where to put my tree this year. We have no room, and my tree is huge!

Well, I guess that's enough rambling for now. Keep your fingers crossed for Sugarland!!!!

Life is handing me crap and trying to knock me down, but I'm not gonna let it keep me down. Junior came home a little while ago, and we're good. He fixed my dryer, which meant he started it and it started right up, no problems. I finished my grass. Del decided yet again to close the stand. This time until it gets cooler outside. The kids are happy. I am too. I managed to get my watermelons for Sunday. That's a plus. So all the crap of today seems to be turning out all right after all.
