The Beauty Of Pearls

Let me ask you a question. When I mention pearls, who or what do you think of?

When I think about pearls, I always picture a beautiful bride, wearing simple yet elegant pearl earrings. It might even be one of the "rules", like something borrowed, something blue, that a bride should wear pearls. I never had a formal wedding myself, but maybe someday when I do renew my wedding vows, I will wear a pearl necklace with my gown.

I also think about my grandmother. I don't think I have a specific memory of her wearing pearls, but she did have this pearl ring. Growing up, she would tell my sister that when the time was right, she would pass that pearl ring on to her. In fact, each of us granddaughters would receive a ring. A year after my Grandmother died, we all inherited our rings. My sister loves to wear her pearl one, and it goes with everything. That's the beauty of pearls. They are not just for dressing up anymore.

I do own a pair of pearl earrings. They were a Christmas gift from my husband many years ago. They are the traditional white pearls, and I love them, but I would also love to own a pair of Tahitian Black Pearl earrings. Or maybe a bracelet. I checked out thepearloutlet.com, and they have the most beautiful pearls at wholesale prices. I was able to find some gorgeous Tahitian Pearls. They had earrings, bracelets, rings, and pendants. There are so many beautiful choices. They also have Akoya Pearls, Freshwater Pearls, and South Sea Pearls. I'm sure if you have someone on your Christmas list wanting pearls, this is the place to find exactly what you are looking for.

My hubby got me a multi strand set of pearls a few years ago. I also have an old necklace of pearls from Avon that I often get a lot of compliments on. Pearls never go out of style.
