Stare Death In The Eye
As the racing engines roar with the squeal of tires they are barreling to the starting line. The referee raises his hands and throws them down saying the race has started. The two furious racers race their engines and they go down a back road leading into a main road. The smoke from the tires on the assfault billows into the stillness of the night, making it hard to see. As the smoke clears, visibility slowly returns with a BAM! The crowd goes silent as they listen to the cars roll. Now through the smoke we see an orange and red glow. Now we hear a BAM, but more like a bomb because the fire hit the gas tank. We hear sirens from everywhere. We can't tell what direction they are coming from. As the driver opens his eyes he finds nothing but lights. Red and blue and also a white from a flashlight. Only one driver emerges and the other driver was buried two days later. The driver that emerged said "I thought I was just going to race my best friend, but instead I killed my best friend". That is why I believe street racing is dangerous. So I encourage all kids, adults, and even teenagers, a street race might make you feel like it is the way to handle a big problem. Then it can also be your one way ticket to death. So if you ever feel like you have to race a friend to settle something, settle it another way. Do not drag or street race even if it is at a drag strip where it is made for that. Street racing is dangerous.
