Why is this so hard for me to do? People give me gift cards as gifts, and I always have the hardest time deciding on what I want to buy for myself. This is especially true if the gift card is to a store that offers a variety of things. Take CSNStores, for instance. I have the opportunity to review one of their products, and I am having the hardest time deciding what I want to get for myself. I was looking at wall sconces, and found this candle one that I really like:
We rent our home, so I can not put up a sconce that runs on electricity, so this candle one is perfect. I know exactly where I would hang it, too. The wall above my desk is bare, and I have been looking for something to hang there. A couple of these would look great.
I also found these outdoor candle holders, and think they would look beautiful around my mom's pool:
I also love their selection of housewares. I could spend hours drooling over sauce pans and spice racks. I found this one that would look perfect hanging on the wall in my kitchen:
When all is said and done, though, I think I am going to get myself something. Not something for the house, or for a family member, but something for me. This is where I need help.
What would you suggest I get for myself from one of the 200+ CSNStores? Maybe a new purse? Or something with an elephant? (and yes, they have elephants...it was one of the first things I checked!) How about shoes? There are so many choices...how will I ever decide?

I agree with you, shopping for myself is so hard. I've been there - I say purse. I'm forever on the search for the perfect purse and for sure. Purse.

Oh, I know it. I poured through the pages of the CSN sites trying to figure out what to review. I wound up choosing an air popper (popcorn) because I was so overwhelmed and it was the only thing I *knew* we needed right then and there. I love my popper but like you, I sorta wish I'd gotten something for ME. I just couldn't decide.
Candle sconces are really nice. I used to have a pair mounted on the sides of the fireplace in my old rental. Just patch up a couple of holes when you move and you're all set.
Get something that makes you smile when you look at it. :)
How about a fun beach cover up? You talk about being in the pool all the time a cute over up for you would be fun. What do you think?
I had the same problem. lol I just suggest making sure that it's something for you, and not for the kids, because it's so rare we buy for ourselves! Spoil yourself!
