This is a sponsored post, I am a Kmart Layaway blogger, though all opinions are my own.
Years ago, when I first got married, my then husband and I would go to Walmart every October and layaway a bunch of stuff for the kids for Christmas. Then a few years ago, they stopped doing layaway, which was a huge mistake, if you ask me. I bet they lost a ton of customers, like mysef, who used layaway for Christmas gifts. For me, it was easier to have a total amount spent that I could pay little by little. Plus, there was the added bonus of not having to find somewhere in my house to hide holiday gifts as I bought them, since we always until the last possible day to pick up our layaway. I believ they have recently brought back their layway program, but it's too late to win me back!
A couple of weeks ago, a very good friend of mine mentioned that she was going to Kmart to take advantage of their free layaway. I told her I wanted to tag along and see if I could find anything for my kids. Their layaway program sounds awesome, and check out how it compares to the competition:
We haven't made it to Kmart yet, but I went on Kmart's website, and I found something Kasi would love:
Yes, my child is a freak about skulls, and she has been after me for a while now to redecorate her room. She shares a room with Brandi, so I was going to get something in the same colors for her bed, but without the skulls. Then I remembered that Brandi's favorite color is blue, and I am sure she would love her own taste represented in the room. I think she will love this:
Just because they share a room doesn't mean we can't split it down the middle, with Kasi's bed on one side and Brandi's on the other, right? The only problem is they have bunk beds, so I would have to get them each a twin bed, as well as the bedding. I sure hope Santa has a lot of money to spend this year!
Of course, while looking for bedding for them, I founs this set that I would love:
I could put beds and bedding on layway, and then enter Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway. Simply put, each week between now and November 17, 2012, Kmart will give away a $500 credit towards the balance of a layaway purchase. I would love to win that! Wouldn't you? There are several ways to enter, so check out their website for details, and happy shop[ping!

I've always loved Kmart more then Walmart. They are cleaner and the sales people are nicer. Unfortunately for me the closest one is in Penn Station and the train ride to it would suck up all the savings. I'll have to check out their website. I don't do alot of internet shopping but for them I might just have to break down lol
