A few weeks ago, Ryan attended his first high school football game. He hated it. He ended up calling a friend of his to go pick him up, and they went fishing instead. He just isn't much into organized sports. He is, however, into cars and fishing, and anything electronic.
A few weeks ago when the transmission went out on my car, he spent two days putting the new one in for me, with some help from his daddy. I was so impressed with his knowledge of cars. He took an automotive class in school last year, and is currently taking another automotive class this year. He is learning a lot, but a lot of the things he is being shown in class he already knows how to do from helping his daddy work on cars.
Over the summer, Ryan spent a lot of time at the lake fishing. He was there so much that the owner of the lake offered him a job, which he absolutely loved. Ryan has an awesome work ethic, and always gives one hundred percent. I think that is why his current boss (he's working at a fast food restaurant) loves him, and constantly calls him into work when they need extra help.
On his days off, he spends a lot of time on the computer. He doesn't play games online like the girls do, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't play soccer online. (random interesting fact.....this soccer game is also available in hebrew!) I'm almost positive that he spends his time online downloading music and chatting with his friends. I don't mind, though, because he is a good, responsible kid, and I am very proud of everything that he does.
