Kasi has started wearing Make Up , which thrills me because she doesn't do many girly things. She is more of a tomboy. I also recently started wearing makeup myself after many years of not wearing any, and to be honest, I could use some Cosmetics Tips. I see other women with perfectly applied makeup, and I always wonder how they do it. I need to search online for some Make Up Tutorials so I can learn how to look as good as they do.
I am sure that when Brandi is old enough to wear makeup, she will know exactly how to apply it. She is pretty obsessed with how she looks even now, so it will not surprise me at all if she continues that trend.

Smile
Have you ever noticed that I hate to smile for pictures, and when I do, I never show my teeth? There is a reason for that, you know. I hate my teeth. They are crooked and horrible. I would have them fixed, but that would probably require me to wear metal braces on my teeth for several years, and I am not going to do that, mostly because I hate the dentist, and also because I would look ridiculous.
I have heard good things about San Antonio Invisalign, and how awesome they can make your smile. Of course, I would have to get over my fear of dentists, because this procedure requires you to have your guards changed about every two weeks, but they are clear, so no one would know you're wearing them. Did you follow that?
I also have a very small mouth, though some people might argue that I have a big mouth. I know there is no way to change the size of my mouth, but I have always envied people who can smile wide and not look like a crazy person. My friend Nicole has the most beautiful smile. If I had her mouth and teeth, I would smile all the time.
But I don't, so I will continue to smile with my tiny mouth closed.

An At Home Spa Day With My Girls, Thanks To Arm & Hammer Baking Soda
Last week, I received a basket from Arm & Hammer filled with all kinds of goodies. Check it out:
It contained all kinds of goodies to help a girl relax. The candle smells so good, and the tea was delicious. My daughters and I decided that today would be a spa day, so we broke out the recipe book and started pampering ourselves.
The first thing we did was make an exfoliating scrub for our feet. All we had to do was mix 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water. (for a more exfoliating scrub, they suggest adding brown sugar, which we did) I ended up adding more water to the mixture, just to make it a little smoother. This is what it looked like:
Brandi and I soaked our feet in warm water with 2 tbsp baking soda and a few drops of lavender oil added. The water smelled really good. After fifteen minutes, Kasi used the scrub on my feet and I used the scrub on Brandi's feet. We used a soft brush to really work the scrub into our heels, and I have to say, they do feel softer. Once our feet were rinses, we painted our toenails a bright pink. Don't they look wonderful?
Once our feet were done, we needed facials. We made a new batch of scrub following the same recipe, only this time we added oatmeal instead of brown sugar. Check it out:
My girls let me slather it all over their faces, and then we worked it in gently, rinsing after a minute or two. I made sure to avoid their eyes, but Brandi ended up getting some in her mouth. Thankfully, the entire scrub was made with edible ingredients (though they may not taste good!) so I wasn't worried about her tasting some. Don't they look adorable?
I also learned that there are several other ways to use Arm & Hammer baking soda in your daily beauty routine. For instance, I had no idea that you could put some baking soda in your hand and dip your toothbrush in it to brush your teeth. I know they have toothpaste that has baking soda in it, but I had no idea you could use it straight like that. I wonder how it tastes? I'll have to try it to find out. You can also use it as a natural deodorant by dusting it under your arms as needed to feel fresh all day. Honestly, I'm not sure that I would try this, but it does sound interesting.
I am happy to say that I enjoyed my day of beauty with my girls. We may have to make this a monthly thing for the three of us.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Arm & Hammer and received a beauty basket to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Discover Your Temptress Temperature
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of KAO Brands. All opinions are 100% mine.
How would you like to win a trip to Vegas for you and three of your closest friends, with $1500 in spending money? Sounds great, right? I know I wouldn't mind a nice kid and husband free vacation. I know the three friends I would take, too. My sisters.
If you want to enter to win this Temptation is Beautiful sweepstakes, just head to their website and fill out the form. I should probably mention that this contest is only open to all us temptresses in the US. You can enter daily, and they even have ways of getting bonus entries. One of those ways is by taking the Temptation Quiz, which I did. Check out my results:

The funny thing is, it is so wrong. You see, when they ask you a question, they give you four possible answers to choose from. I had to choose the least horrifying of the four, because they didn't have an option of answering yourself. For instance, they ask what you would do on a girls night out. The possible answers were about going to bars and fancy restaurants. For me, the perfect night would be dinner at a nice, but not too fancy place, and maybe some bowling or a movie. There was also a question about what was your title in high school, with the options being class clown, class president, and a couple of others. My answer would have been wall flower; trying to blend in and stay unnoticed. But, the quiz was fun to do, even if the answers were a little off.

Aside from the grand prize trip to Vegas, you can also enter to win the daily prize, which is a gift basket filled with all the goodies pictured above. Included in the basket are Curél®, Jergen’s®, Bioré®, Ban®, and John Frieda® products. They will be giving away a basket a day, so make sure you are getting your daily entries in.
I want to know if you take the Temptation Quiz, so be sure to come back and let me know which result you got, and if you think it is accurate.
