Carmex Review & Giveaway

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is that time of year again when my hands start to get all dry and cracked.  I blame the cold weather when we walk to the bus stop in the mornings.  Right around my thumbs, the skin on the back of my hands was getting really rough and cracked.  I knew I needed to find a lotion that would heal that skin before the really cold weather hit.

I received some samples of Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream from IZEA, and let me tell you, within days of using the Healing Lotion I could tell a difference in my skin.  I know what you are thinking; that there is no way that a lotion could make a difference that fast.  Let me assure you that it did.  The lotion itself is really creamy, and it blends into the skin well.  It doesn't leave behind that greasy feeling that other lotions do.

The thing I liked the best, though, is the smell.  I can't even find the words to describe it, other than that it smells fresh and reminds me of the way my Cabbage Patch Doll smelled when I first got her.  Weird, I know.  The scent also stays on your skin long after you applied the lotion.

I am looking forward to seeing how well my hands stand up this Winter while using this product.  You can see, too, by entering to win a 1 ounce sample of the Healing Lotion for yourself.  All you have to do is go to the Carmex website, look around a bit, then come back and leave a comment on this post telling me something interesting you discovered about the lotion.  After doing this, you can earn extra entries (1 each) by following me twitter or "liking" this blog on Facebook.

This contest is for US residents only (sorry) and will end at 11:59pm on Sunday, November 7, 2010. Good Luck!

I also love Carmex for lips !! But, my hands are already really dry. We have had to turn our furnace on already. It has already froze here. Tonight it is suppose to be 29. That is cold. So, I learned: Carmex® Healing Lotion is made using a patent pending process that delivers healing and moisturization without a greasy feel.
