~Thursday~

Brandi is doing better today. She is no longer screaming in agony when she goes potty. That is the good news. The bad news? ANTS!!!! I want to move! I can't take it anymore! I cleaned the bathroom yesterday. Washed all the towels, put them on the cart. Today, they are all covered in ants!! I rewash the towels. As soon as the cart is empty, the ants leave. I don't know if it's my laundry detergent or what, but they liked something. When Junior gets paid next week, I think we might bomb the house and the basement. The only bad thing is that I will have to keep Ollie outside for a few hours. I tried to give him a flea bath today. Not a good idea. He drew blood as soon as his paws got wet. I didn't even attempt to finish. I like my blood on the inside, where it belongs! So anyway, that was my day. I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully with something a little more exciting to write about!Just a thought.....I have the CUTEST niece in the entire world!! My nephews are adorable as well, but Tristin-Grace is eatable! I want to take a bite out of her cheeks! Go look at Terra's pictures.

The Great Ant Invasion - Part 2

I can not believe this! I woke up this morning, not an ant in sight. I mowed the grass, cleaned the house, did some laundry and then swam. When Junior and Ryan got home, (they were with Grumpy) we went to Wal-Mart. I decided that I'm making lunch all this week, so I bought some ciabbata bread. Yummy! I keep my bread in the cabinet with my dishes. I grilled burgers and corn on the cab, we ate, I sat down at the computer to check things out. Terra, how cute is Tristin-Grace in oigtails? Anyway, as I'm reading, Ryan says there are ants in my bread. I think he's kidding. Nope. The survivors from yesterday were back with reinforcements. Luckily, while at WM I bought ant traps. So Junior put some out. They better be dead and gone by morning. I now have to wash every dish and coffee mug in that cabinet. What a pain in the behind! We went to the river this afternoon to see how it looks. They now offer tubing. It takes 5 1/2 to 6 hours to ride the river, and it sounds like fun. $12 a person. That's not too bad. We might look into doing it while Tami is here.I have no idea if or what time I am working tomorrow. I haven't heard from Del all day. I guess I'll call when I get up in the morning. I think he is getting a little discouraged. I'm not sure what he's gonna do.I guess that's it. I'll see ya all tomorrow!

Massacre Complete

It was a sad, sad day. Hundreds perished. They tried to run. They died mid stride. Some escaped. I knew going in there would be survivors. Yes, I'm talking about the ants. When I got home there were tons of them. But no more. Hopefully they are gone for good.Del did not do good today. We were so slow. Last Saturday, he did over $350. Today, less then $225. Yesterday we did $340, so I don't know what's going on. I was falling asleep in my chair cause I was there alone. I was sooo bored. I tried reading the new Stephen King, but I'm having a hard time getting into it. I also ordered it large print by accident, and it bothers my eyes. I ended up walking to the store to buy a puzzle book. Junior was off with his Dad, and ended up hurting his back. He's all doped up on lortab. He needs the sleep, too.Speaking of his Dad, Grumpy has been hanging out at the stand. Even when Junior isn't there. It drives me nuts! But at least it gives him something to do.I have So much to do in the morning. I have worked every day this week and I have neglected the house. Hopefully I'll get the grass cut. It needs it. I need to do laundry and dust and all that good stuff. I want desperately to sleep in. We were going to go fishing tomorrow, but with his back hurting and the fact we don't have our new lisences yet, we're not going. The kids are dissappointed, but Junior is on vacation soon, so we'll make it up to them.I guess I'm gonna get off this thing. I'll write more soon!

The Great Ant Invasion

I woke up this morning, got the kids up, told them to eat breakfast. Kasi says, "there's ants by the sink in the kitchen". I go investigate. Yup, Ants. Tons of them. Going up my wall, all over the counter, disgusting! I hate all bugs. Ant are gross cause they are little, and you can never kill them all. There are always a few who escape. I am on a mission today to find some good ant spray. I have to work at 8, so they will have the rest of the day to enjoy theirs lives, cause tonight there will be slaughter at the Wylie residence! Speaking of dying, I am sitting here listening to ......my ipod! Yeah! I don't know what happened, but it decided it wanted to live. I think I might have gotten it too hot by leaving it my bag over at Del's. I'm just sooooo happy it's alive! I know, get a life. Little things make me happy.I guess I should go. We were quite busy yesterday, and I know Del wants to open as early as possible today. Have a great day!
