Stop Waiting And Get Going!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

If everything goes as planned, next weekend we will be moving. We turned in the rental application today, but there have been several others who did the same, so the guy will pick the best one. We're hoping that will be us.

If we do get it, I will spend next week getting all our utilities and stuff changed over. I am thinking about upgrading my internet speed when they switch it. Charter offers great deals on their packages, and right now they are offering free installation. I am hoping that even though I am an existing customer, I can still get the free installation.

Having Charter for my internet was a deciding factor in our rental choices. I refuse to go back to DSL. When we moved into this apartment, it wasn't wired for Charter, so we went with the DSL our phone provider provided. After about two days, I was begging Junior to try and get Charter here. We had it at the house, and I couldn't believe the difference in speed between them and DSL. I know it's crazy to expect instant access, but that is what Charter offers, and I love it. I love playing my games online, and also downloading whatever I want, without having to wait FOREVER! Trust me when I say that you should stop waiting and get going. Make the switch to Charter and get high speed internet for only $19.99. That is an awesome price, and I speak from experience.

You can also become a fan of Charter’s Facebook page to keep up to date with specials and programming details.

Amazing Deals From Charter

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter Communication. All opinions are 100% mine.

In the past year, Charter has had some pretty awesome giveaways. I know I have told you about a few. It is with great enthusiasm that I am going to tell you about the deals they have going on before the year ends. I am a little disappointed that I am not a new customer (I have been a customer of theirs for years) because they are offering an awesome deal right now on their cable/telephone/cable bundle package. With packages starting at $69.97 for 12 months, ordering all three services also gets you a $2oo gift card. So not only are you going to save money for an entire year, but you get free money. How can you pass up a deal like that? But, you need to hurry, because this deal is only good until Cyber Monday.
Chartercom_black_friday__234x134
But, after Cyber Monday, they will begin 38 days of giveaways. That's right. Every day they will be giving out an amazing prize, from iPods and camcorders to televisions and GPS units. Check out Charter’s Daily Deal Web Site for all the details. I, personally, want to win some of the Showtime prizes. You all know how much I love my serial killers and kings. (For those who don't watch, that means I am a fan of Dexter and The Tudors) They also have some HBO stuff. If you want to keep up with daily deals, become a fan of Charter on Facebook. They will be updating daily, and trust me, I am going to be getting those updates. Seriously, I want some of that Dexter stuff.

Let me end by saying that I have been extremely satisfied with the service I have gotten from Charter, and I highly recommend that if you have them in your area, you should consider using their services. And don't wait too long, or you will miss out on this great deal.

On Demand

Right now, I am listening to the kids watching iCarly. It's the Halloween episode from last year.

This is the third time they are watching it today. Did I mention how much I love days like this? They are home from school, and it is raining. That means they have nothing better to do than veg out and watch television. I have tried getting them to play a game or something, but they just want to chill.

I can't blame them. I can, however, complain about what they are watching. I normally don't mind iCarly, but watching the same thing over and over again can get pretty annoying.

Are you wondering how they are able to do this? It's all thanks to Charter on demand.
Ondemand
Normally, I am a huge fan of on demand. This is how I get to watch most of the movies I do. I am a subscriber to HBO and Showtime, so I can watch a lot of their programs on demand. This works well when I want to rewatch an episode of Dexter or Californication, or when I need my True Blood fix. They also have most of their current movies on demand. This helps feed my James Marsden obsession, by allowing me to watch 27 Dresses and Enchanted whenever I want. Typing that right there just told me where my kids get it from; watching the same things over and over. I do it to.

You can learn more at charter.net/ondemand and see if Charter is available in your area. I have been a loyal customer for years, and have been more than satisfied with their service. You can also get updates and fun extras on Charter’s Facebook page.

Right now, I need to steal the remote from the kids. I need a little 27 Dresses!

I Love Charter, And You Can Too

I have my internet through Charter. I pay extra every month so that I can have high speed internet. I don't have their fastest, but plan on upgrading soon. I also have my phone and cable through them. They have wonderful customer service, and that is not something I am just saying. I know first hand, because I had a issue a couple of weeks ago with my phone. Turns out the problem was because of a flood from my bathroom, but the service guy who showed up was great, and had the problem fixed pretty quickly. Whenever I have called them in the past, they have always gone out of their way to answer all of my questions.

They are known for having awesome giveaways, too. In the past they have given away computers and game stations, but I think what they are giving away now is the best prize yet.

It's a 2010 Camaro 2SS. How cool is that? Not that I drive or anything, but Junior would love it! Charter will also pay the sales tax, which is great. You can enter the Camaro Sweepstakes simply by ordering any Charter service online. They are also giving away gift cards to restaurants and clothing stores, or prepaid VISA cards. If you order all three Charter services like I have, you get a $100 gift card. Ordering two gift cards will get you a $50 gift card, and one service will get you $25 gift card. I wish I didn't have it right now just so that I could qualify for the gift cards.

You can follow Charter on Facebookif you happen to be on there, or if you Twitter, you can follow Charter on Twitter, too. Both are great ways to keep up to date on all the great things that Charter has to offer.

Win A Laptop

Three weeks from today, my kids go back to school. I really can not believe the summer has gone by so quickly. Going back to school means going back to school shopping, and that puts a serious dent in our wallets. Charter has decided to help us parents out by giving away gift cards ranging from $25-$100 with special online deals. They are also having a Laptop-a-Day Sweepstakes, where they are giving away a HP 550 Notebook 15-inch with Windows Vista and a NeoTec Compu Backpack every day until September 15th. I remember last year how shocked I was last year when one of Ryan's teachers required him to carry a jump drive to school. I know this is the age of technology, but I always wonder what the parents do when they do not have a home computer. They must spend a lot of time at the library.

To keep up with the latest news and specials offered by Charter, follow Charter on Facebook and Charter on Twitter. I will admit that I am not a big Twitter fan, but I think that is mostly because I don't understand how it works. I think I need to get a book or something about it all. Do you thin they have a Twitter For Dummies?

Another Giveaway From Charter

When I worked at McDonald's, my store manager was an older woman. Her oldest grandson was deployed to Iraq, and it was very hard on her. She was close to this grandchild, and missed him terribly. He sent her a letter one day, telling her he could get online where he was, so they could exchange emails. She went out that same day and bought her first computer. It took a few weeks, but she taught herself the basics, and was emailing like a pro. It's amazing how technology can connect people who are so far away from each other.

I wish I had a similar story, but to be honest, I use the internet for the same reasons millions of others do. I check my mail, I blog, and I play on Facebook. There is nothing interesting in that, except for the fact that my internet speed is lightning fast. I use Charter for my internet, cable, and home phone. In fact, last month I signed up for a new bundle package, and am locked into this rate for two years. This means no surprises on my bill. That is a nice feeling.

Charter also has great giveaways. Last year they even gave away a car. Right now, though, they are giving away laptops and HDTV's, one each week. I would be happy winning either one of those prizes. I would be really happy if I won the grand prize package of one 52” HFTV, one 15” Laptop, and a free year of the Charter Bundle with includes Digital Cable with HD and a DVR, Charter High-Speed Internet and Charter Telephone. This prize will be given away at the end of the promotion.

To enter the drawing, all you have to do it go to Charter's website, and submit your story about how you use their services. Are you like my manager, and use the internet to keep in contact with a soldier, or a family member who lives across the country? Share your story, and you could be a winner.

You can also check out Charter on Facebook. I know I will. I spend a lot of time there. On Facebook, that is.

New Internet Speed

I am spoiled. I know this, and am okay with it. I mean, who doesn't like being spoiled?

I'm not talking about material things, or getting everything I want. I'm not talking about my husband doing every little thing I ask of him. I am talking about my internet connection.

Okay, keep laughing, but try and let me explain.

I used to have dial up. This was when I first discovered the internet about six years ago. I know, I missed out on a lot not being online, but before that I was raising kids and working, and I didn't have time for myself at all. After using dial up for a while, my phone company came out with DSL. I was so excited that I could be online and talk on the phone at the same time. It was heaven, or at least that is what I thought.

Until the day we decided to get cable. Before this, the kids were young enough that they didn't care if they watched Nick or Disney Channel. When we called to get our cable installed, our local cable company told us about their package deal, where we could get cable, phone and internet through them, for one low, monthly bill. We said sure, and that is when I fell in love with Charter.

Their phone and cable service is great, but their internet speed is what my love is based on. It is so fast. I don't have to wait to be connected like with dial up. I don't have to wait for pages to load. It's almost instantaneous. Right now, I have their highest broadband connection. I didn't think it could get any better than this.

Until today.

Ultra60smallThis morning I read about Charter’s Ultra60 Mbps service. It is not available in my area yet, but I can not wait until it is. It is one of their new PhatBand speeds, and it makes gaming and watching movies online better. I am constantly multi-tasking online, and would love a faster speed. It would probably make dropping my ecards a whole lot easier. I am not all that good at explaining the technical stuff, so check out the Ultra60 Information Page if you have questions about this new service. I hope it is available in my area soon.

To keep up with all things Charter, follow Charter’s Twitter Feed. I think I am one of the few people left in the world who aren't addicted to Twitter. Yet.

Win A Flatscreen

I have my internet, phone and cable through Charter. I know some people think satellites are better, and they are always talking down about cable companies. I can tell you from experience that cable works better for our family. I don't have to worry about my television losing it's signal in a storm, and I have tons of channels, including all the premium movie channels, for a very reasonable price.

Right now Charter is giving new customers the chance to win a 22 inch Samsung HDTV. They are giving away one television every day for the entire month of April. Already a customer? Just upgrade your existing service, and you can be entered into the drawing. They will even award one customer a grand prize, which includes a 52 inch Sony Bravia HDTV, a Sony home theater system, and a charter digital cable package with HD, free for 12 months. How cool is that? In the past they have given away Xbox's and laptops. They even gave away a car last year. Their prize packages keep getting better and better.

Now is the time to switch to Charter. Check out their website and see if it is available in your area. I use them, and I have no complaints.

Charter On Black Friday

When I think of Black Friday, I think of heading to the crowded stores to fight over discounted merchandise. I never would have thought about shopping for cable service on black friday. If you are lucky enough to live in an area serviced by Charter, like I am, you do not want to wait any longer to sign up for their services. I have had Charter as my internet, cable, and phone provider for a few years now, and I do not have any complaints. Right now they are having an awesome deal on their bundled packages. You can get Charter High Speed Internet, Charter Digital Home and Charter Telephone. Buy one service for twenty five dollars a month, buy two services for seventy five dollars a month, and get all three services for one hundred and fifty dollars a month. They also have an Ultimate Bundle Package, where you get 10 Mbps High Speed Internet, Digital Home Cable including the sports view, digital view, HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Encore, Showtime and The Movie Channel, and Charter telephone with unlimited calling. This bundle is available for only $165.97. This is the bundle I have, and I pay more than that, so this is a great deal. If you sign up now for the ultimate bundle, you get a $250 gift card, and you will be entered to win an Xbox 360. They are giving away 45 of them. Trust me when I tell you this is an amazing deal at an amazing price.

Win A XBox360

I know I have talked about Charter in the past. I use them for my cable and phone, and they are also my internet provider. You all know that when we moved, I tried to use DSL for internet. I was not happy with it. I was spoiled with Charters blazing fast high-speed internet. Now Charter saves me money every month, and I only have one bill, instead of three. I have used them for years, and honestly, have only had one minor problem with them, which was my fault. If you live in an area where Charter is available to you, now is the perfect time to sign up. You can try Charter risk free for 30 days, and be entered in Charter Communications Xbox Sweepstakes. From now until December 15, Charter will be giving away a XBox360 prize pack every day, to someone who signs up for their services. Talk about perfect timing! This would make an awesome Christmas gift. The prize pack includes XBox 360® Pro Console, XBox LIVE Headset, Wireless Controller, Component HD AV Cable, and 20Gb Detachable Hard Drive. If you add Charter HD to your subscription, you can enjoy an awesome gaming experience with picture quality six times sharper than regular televisions. I do not have the HD right now, but will certainly look into it in the future. I can not express how happy I am with Charter, or how much I think you need to check it out.

Win A Hybrid!

I have written in the past about how wonderful I think Charter is. They are my cable/telephone/Internet provider. Their service is great, and their customer service is outstanding. If you have been thinking about signing up with Charter, now is the perfect time. They are having a sweepstakes right now, called Save Green, Go Green! If you order any service online, or simply register for service, you will be entered to win a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid, worth $24,000. With up to 45 mpg highway, a fabric interior, USB Audio Interface, 110-hp, 8 valve, SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylider engine, continuously variable transmission and MP3 Auxiliary Input Jack, this car sounds amazing. With the price of gas going up and down daily, winning a hybrid would save you money on gas. Charter is offering to save you money, and help the environment at the same time. The only drawback is that you must live in an area that offers Charter services. So go now and see if Charter is available in your area. You will be saving money each month using their services, and you may just win that amazing new Hybrid, which could keep even more money in your pockets.
