Lillie
Here's our new little kitty, Lillie. I'm not exactly sure how old she is, maybe a few months. A friend of mine found her, which leads me to believe someone tossed her out of their car or something. I can only assume it is because she is deaf, because she is the sweetest little thing. She loves to cuddle, and every time I sit on the couch, it doesn't take her long to find me and snuggle up between me and my laptop. My girls love her, too. I am sure she is going to have a very happy life here with us.

I Want A Kitten!
How adorable are they? I promised the kids that as soon as I can afford the pet deposit, we are going to look for a kitten. I really want a white fluffy one. I would love to be able to afford a Persian one, like one of the ones in that picture, but we will probably just go to the animal shelter and hope they have one just as cute.
We used to have a white cat with light gray stripes named Oliver. Ollie was the best cat. He would come when you called his name, and he always slept in bed with me and Brandi, usually on one of our pillows. I was crushed when we had to have him put to sleep due to kidney issues. I cried for weeks. I still tear up when I come across pictures of him. When he died, I got rid of everything that reminded me of him, which means when we get a new kitten, I am going to have to buy all new pet supplies.
I am going to make sure that this time we get a girl kitten, because I was told that male cats are prone to kidney problems, and I can't go through that again. I have been trying to come up with a cute girl name, but seem to be drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

Adopting A Kitten
Ever since we had to put our cat, Oliver, to sleep last year, I have been looking for another that looks like he did, because he was absolutely beautiful. We have looked in the papers with no luck, basically because they don't put pictures in the ads. A friend told me about Petango.com - Adopt a cat!, so I decided to take a look this morning.
Check out the kitten I found. It looks exactly like Ollie did as a kitten. This is a female named Noodle, and she is in a shelter about 45 minutes from here. I wish we could have pets here, because I would go get her right now. But, we will have to wait until we move, and hopefully it will be somewhere that allows pets.
Petango.com - Adopt a cat! allows you to put in your zip code, and then how far you are willing to travel to find the perfect pet. You have options for age, color, gender, and even breed. The only thing that bothers me is that I want to bring every cat home with me. They are all adorable. It breaks my heart that there are so many unwanted pets in this world, and I wish I could take every one of them in and take care of them, but I know that is impossible. I will just have to settle for loving one little baby, and hopefully we will live somewhere that that will be possible.
For now, I will just love the two boys we have outside.
Oh, and for you dog lovers out there, you can check out Petango.com - Adopt a dog today!

Still Pooping
I asked a few days ago for help dealing with my kitten pooping in my plant. While I was given some great ideas, hubby insisted we try his way first. (you know how men are) He had me put garlic in the soil. I hear you snickering.....well, it worked! And as a bonus, my hallway smells like an Italian restaurant!
This morning, we went food shopping. When we got home, the smell of poop was in our living room. Yup...found it behind the couch. I know I can not put garlic all over my carpet, so now I need to know how to get her from pooping there.
I tried changing her litter more frequently, and the funniest thing happened. She attacked it! you know how they crouch down and pounce? That's what she did for like 20 minutes! I think she might be inbred and crazy or something!
